The first basket I made was
a simple square napkin basket. But I was instantly hooked on basket weaving! I promptly ordered many books
and began weaving, learning as I weaved. Since then, I have attended classes
at the John C. Campbell Folk School
in Brasstown, NC, and at the
Silver Dollar City Basket Seminar
held annually each May, in Branson, Mo.
I am a member of the Arkansas Basket
Weaving Guild and the
Central Arkansas
Basket Weaving Guild in
Conway, Arkansas. My husband loves my baskets and puts up
with reeds and supplies that at times, seem to take over our house. I also have a lab that loves to chew on the clothes pins I drop on the floor.I hope you love my baskets as much as
I love making them !
